Dr. Charles Yarborough has provided litigation support for defense and plaintiff firms. He has testified in asbestos litigation regarding alleged health effects associated with reported job dust exposures. Also he has been recognized as a subject matter expert for lead and other occupational/environmental health matters. Experience
Dr. Charles Yarborough, MD, MPH, is Board-certified in Occupational Medicine and Internal Medicine and holds a Master degree in public health. He received his medical doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham and afterward trained at the University of Texas at Houston Medical Center and MD Anderson Cancer Center followed by occupational medicine training at the University of Cincinnati. Subsequently he served in clinical and administrative roles for health systems and several companies. He is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and American College of Preventive Medicine. Most recently he was corporate medical director for Lockheed Martin Corporation. Dr. Yarborough has published peer-reviewed scientific articles and given presentations on various health topics in various nations over the past 3 decades. Charles is a past president of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He serves on the Johns Hopkins University advisory committee for its occupational medicine training program. Dr. Yarborough is an elected member of the board of directors for 2024-2027 term for the International Commission on Occupational Health, which was founded in 1906 by the United Nations. Currently, he provides health-related consultations and expert opinions along with serving as the medical consultant for the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
